Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Gemini Watermark Remover ("we", "us") collects when you use https://removegeminimark.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
The remover runs in your browser. The images and videos you open are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The short version
- Your files stay on your device. Images and videos are read and processed locally in your browser. We do not receive, store, or transmit the file contents.
- No account required. You do not need a name, email address, or password to use the remover.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your files to train AI models — we never receive them.
Information we collect
Files you process
When you open a PNG, JPG, WEBP, MP4, WEBM, or MOV file, that file is handled by code running in your browser. We do not receive the image, the video, its pixels, its frames, or its file name. The result is created on your device, and you download it from your browser.
Technical and log data
Like most websites, the servers that deliver the site automatically record technical information about requests for the pages themselves. This can include IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, referring URL, timestamps, and error details. These logs are about loading the website. They do not include the files you process in the remover.
Analytics
On removegeminimark.com we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are visited and how people arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device and browser details. We do not send your images or videos to Google Analytics.
Information you send us
If you email support@removegeminimark.com, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments you choose to include.
How we use information
- To deliver the website and the in-browser remover.
- To keep the site secure, enforce rate limits, diagnose errors, and fix problems.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages people visit and how they arrive, using Google Analytics on the production site.
- To read and reply to messages you send us.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not use your images or videos to train, fine-tune, or evaluate models. We do not look at those files, because they are not sent to us.
How your files are handled
- You select a file, drop it on the page, or paste it from the clipboard.
- Your browser reads the file locally and removes the visible Gemini, Veo, or Google Flow sparkle.
- A before-and-after view is shown on the page so you can check the change.
- You download the result from your browser. Cleaned images download as PNG. Cleaned videos download as MP4.
The file remains in your browser's memory while the page is open. It is discarded when you leave the page, refresh it, or choose another file. We do not keep a server-side copy.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the website, and only as needed for that work:
- Cloudflare hosts the website, delivers pages, and keeps operational logs used for security and reliability.
- Google Analytics measures aggregate visits on the production website, such as pages viewed and how people arrive. Your images and videos are not sent to Google.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Because your files are not uploaded, we cannot produce them in response to a request.
Cookies and local storage
The remover does not set its own cookies, and it does not write your files to local storage. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and to distinguish real visitors from automated traffic. On the production site, Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to measure visits. Those cookies can last up to 2 years. We do not use advertising cookies.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the site from loading reliably. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies does not change the fact that file processing stays in your browser.
Data retention
- Files: not uploaded and not stored on our servers. They stay in your browser only while the page is open.
- Logs: operational logs are kept for a limited period under our hosting provider's settings, and are used to operate and secure the site.
- Analytics: Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in that account.
- Emails: kept for as long as needed to handle your request and keep a record of that conversation.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Your files are processed locally, so their contents are not transmitted to us as part of using the remover. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of the website or of email you send us.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
The Service does not use accounts, and we do not hold the files you process, so there is usually no file for us to return or delete. If you have emailed us, write to support@removegeminimark.com and we will help with the information we do hold, such as that email thread. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests to keep the site secure and reliable through operational logs, and on steps you take when you email us so we can respond. Where the law requires consent for analytics cookies, we rely on consent for Google Analytics. We do not ask you to create an account or to upload a file in order to use the remover.
International data transfers
Our hosting provider and Google Analytics may process information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers. Your image and video files are not part of those transfers, because they are not sent to us.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us at support@removegeminimark.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will provide a more prominent notice on the website.
